Dragon 200 Arm of the Immortals, 24 miles per hex

Was this Bruce Heard’s last hex map for Mystara during its original publication run? It appeared in the final issue of The Known World Grimoire, in December 1993 — right before the move to AD&D. The series went out on a high note, expanding the world one last time, finally reaching the Arm of the Immortals in Mystara’s extreme west.

This map introduced two new cultures that were previously mentioned in Dragon 192’s Nimmur article, closing off that story. It also provided our first glimpse at the nations of the western coast with Gombar and Suma’a.

The exact placement of the coastlines in relation to the previous map in Dragon 196 is a little problematic. Reference to the continental and world maps is recommended to work out the exact join here.
