Jason Hibdon’s Alfheim, 8 miles per hex
In April 2020, Jason Hibdon began posting a wonderful series of maps to the Mystara Reborn group on Facebook. He used Campaign Cartographer 3+ to draft the maps, basing them on the Atlas of Mystara 8 mile per hex series. The result is a stunning conversion of Mystara’s traditional hex art to a modern art style.
Jason then revisited his early maps the next month to match his evolving style, de-hexifying the borders, adding a background texture to the hills, and making light forests look less regular. Both versions are presented below, beginning with the latest one, from May 2020.
Following Gazetteer order, Alfheim was Jason’s fifth map. His symbol choices for the good and bad magic points are one of the highlights of this map.

This is a fan-made map. It was first published in April 2020, and revised in May 2020. The updated Atlas version of this map is Alfheim, 8 miles per hex.
