Thibault’s Arm of the Immortals and Orc’s Head Peninsula, 24 miles per hex
The last map of note from Thibault’s 1998 archives is this one showing the combined maps from Dragon 196 and Dragon 200. It’s a faithful replica of the two maps, using Dragon 200’s reference point to line them up. I did the same seven years later, and ended up with the exact same configuration as Thibault.
However, it turns out that Dragon 200 had things wrong, and the relative locations of the Arm and the Peninsula are not quite as shown here. This is verifiable in other sources such as Red Steel, as well as of course the original Master Set world map.
Fan-made Map by Thibault Sarlat (January 1998)
This is an original map created by one of Mystara’s excellent fan cartographers. For more information on the cartographer, including a gallery of all their maps, see also Appendix M: Mappers of Mystara.
