Solmyr’s Norwold Political
For a short intro to Aleksei Andrievski’s maps, see the post for Solmyr’s Alphatian Region.
The last two of Aleksei’s PBEM maps returned to the Outer World and the heart of the setting, dividing up Norwold and the Known World into playable regions. For Norwold, Aleksei clearly used all of the resources from the fan community available to him at that point, likely from the Mystara Mailing List, preserved at the Vaults of Pandius to this day. This is evidenced by his inclusion of Kaarjala and Littonia in northern Norwold. He also incorporated Bruce Heard’s errata from Dragon #189, adding the correct name for Walrus Island.
The map itself is clearly a zoomed adaptation of another map, resulting in it being a bit blocky, though it is still entirely usable.
Fan-made Map by Aleksei Andrievski (August 2000)
This is an original map created by one of Mystara’s excellent fan cartographers. For more information on the cartographer, including a gallery of all their maps, see also Appendix M: Mappers of Mystara.
The Atlas has been unable to contact the original cartographer. This map therefore appears here without explicit permission from its creator. Any information on how to get in touch with them would be most welcome.

- Islands — Walrus Island has been adopted as the name for the island northeast of the Isle of the Dogs near Oceansend. This was detailed in the Known World Grimoire in Dragon #189, though the correct name never appeared on an official map.
