Agathokles’ Ochalea, 14 miles per hex
Giampaolo released a Gazetteer of Ochalea in December 2006. At the time it didn’t include a map, but a few months later he worked up a map to go with the PDF version (prepared by Axel Boucher), which he released at the end of March.
For his map, Giampaolo stated on the MMB at the time that he based it on James Mishler’s Isle of Ochalea maps. Those were non-hex maps, so Giampaolo converted them to a hex map, combining the physical and geographic variants, in the process adding in a whole lot of detail.
I’m not too sure about the scale of this one. It seems to read 14 miles per hex, but the font is rather ambiguous. Comparison with the Dawn of the Emperors 24 mile per hex map seems to confirm the 14 mile per hex scale. Giampaolo seems to be a fan of interesting scales (for which see some of his later maps), so perhaps this is indeed correct.
While this map is included in the last pages of the PDF for his gazetteer, it seems that Giampaolo never posted a separate version. Consequently, it may have been somewhat overlooked by the community, which is a shame, because it’s a great piece.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in March 2007. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2007. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map. Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features. Hex Art & Fonts track design elements. Finally, Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.

Considering that it clearly says 24 miles/hex, don’t you think that might actually be the case?
