Agathokles’ Skaufskogr
Three years after he made his amazing Skaufskogr region hex map, Giampaolo excitedly posted to The Piazza that he had made a new, topographical version. In his own words:
This was a players’ map I did for a BECMI campaign we run at the office for over a year, following the general plot outlined in my Threshold article.
He explained that he had followed a tutorial over at the Cartographer’s Guild, and this was the result. The style is quite reminiscent of Håvard’s topographical maps, and rather attractive. It’s a great complement to the hex maps of the area.
This was Giampaolo’s first foray into this style, but it wouldn’t be his last, and his style continued to evolve with each map.
