Mark’s Forest Jen
While he was developing his Paint.NET mapping system, Mark was also exploring other options. In his own words:
I also spent a considerable amount of time testing Inkarnate and Wonderdraft. The only finalised version I have from these tests is this.
Having worked on the Known World for many years, Mark has more recently become interested in mapping out parts of Skothar — especially the northwestern area of the continent. This map of the area northeast of Esterhold was his first such map.
The style, starkly different from his usual hex maps, is certainly interesting. It’s far more modern, and thus perhaps of interest to Mystara fans who like this kind of thing. Although this is the only such map Mark has made, he has nonetheless continued to explore alternative styles, and I look forward to seeing more of these in the future.
