LoZompatore’s Belcadiz Migrations
The date on this file is early November 2005, which coincides with Marco Dalmonte’s proposed New Belcadiz Theory. Michele was involved in discussions of the topic over at the Italian MMB of the time, before Marco posted his write-up to the English MMB. Both Marco and Michele then posted in MMB threads about the Belcadiz elves over the following month or so.
I have been unable to find where Michele may have posted this map originally, but it seems likely it was a visual representation of the discussions he was involved in at the Italian MMB. It should therefore make a good companion piece to Marco’s theory, preserved at the Vaults of Pandius.
Taking a broader look at Michele’s work, this map followed other migration-themed maps for the Tanagoro and Humanoids, continuing his delves into population movements. It also leads in to the next maps he worked on, which dealt with Thyatis.
Finally, this is the earliest dated map featuring Michele’s new base map. Although of course it only shows the subject areas, it is clearly part of a larger map, combining features of the Companion Set continental map with details from later hex maps, but in the same clean, black and white style.
