LoZompatore’s Vulcanian Settlements
Michele stepped up his posting to the Wizards’ Mystara Message Board in 2007, beginning with this exploration of settlements in the southeastern corner of Davania. As usual, he expertly brought together all the official references he could find — often rather sparse for this otherwise rather undocumented region.
The map itself used part of his new base map, under construction at this time. He explained this in his post at the MMB:
It is based from the Master’s Set map, but I added as much detail as possible taken from the rest of the canonic material. This map is part of a global map of Mystara I’m drawing for general purposes.
It’s part of the same map he had previously used for many of his other late 2005-2006 maps, although this was the first time to show off Vulcania. Effectively what he did was create a larger scale version of the Master Set map, using the style and conventions of the more detailed Companion Set continental map.
