Poor Wizard’s Almanac III Isle of Dawn
This map of the Isle of Dawn area, including parts of sunken Alphatia, was one of a number of small scale overview maps in Poor Wizard’s Almanac III. Others included the Great Waste and Northeastern Davania. Previously, the Almanac series had mostly concentrated on larger scale maps of individual nations. However, the limitations of the format (small page size, maps less than a single page, tight schedule with annual releases) meant that it was difficult to include much detail. In many ways, these smaller scale maps seemed to come off better — at this scale, no one expects a lot of detail, but they nevertheless make for very handy references.
There weren’t all that many maps of post-Wrath Alphatia, so it was welcome to have another view on the area.
