Thibault’s Hule, 24 miles per hex
Thibault’s mapping of Hule has a somewhat complex history. He began working it up at 24 miles per hex, based on Christian Constantin’s map of the area, in mid-1999, posting his first version of the map in early July. This version is lost to us now, but it almost certainly consisted of a labelled map with grey hex grid and angular rivers and roads.
In the months afterwards, he was already revising the map, adding in the Savage Baronies area and tweaking the terrain. But it seems that he didn’t post this immediately. His finished terrain dates to October 1999, and tellingly it is just the base terrain, without the angular rivers and roads; clearly, he planned to draw these in manually instead.
Next, he a posted a revised version of the original map in November 2000. This second version is likely almost identical to the first, except that the grey hex grid of the original has been turned black.
It wasn’t until April 2001 that he finished drawing rivers, roads and borders, and posted the third version of the map — complete with a new set of labels. This was his most complete version, although since it was based on the October 1999 terrain, it had rotated hex art.
The final version appeared in November 2001. Although it has upright hex art, the rivers and borders are only present in the top half of the map, and there are no labels. A more complete version of this appeared in Thibault’s mammoth world map in 2002.

Chronological Analysis
These are fan-made maps. They were published in November 2000 and revised in April and November 2001. The updated Atlas version of these maps is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2000 and 2001. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
