Thibault’s Mystara, 72 miles per hex 2000
Thibault created this map combining all of his 72 mile per hex maps in 2000. It was the first time he had made such a map; I assembled the combined maps from previous years much later, to show Thibault’s coverage during those years.
The first version appeared in June, and Thibault posted about it on the Mystara Mailing List at the time. He completed Brun at last, and Alphatia with it. Strangely, he left out Vulcania, although he had already mapped it in multiple versions by this time.
An update in November added the missing region, as well as rivers in Davania, and detailed coastlines in various places (notably the Known World, the Thanegioth Archipelago, and northeastern Davania). It also changed the hex grid to black and implemented the new palette, with orange badlands.
With this huge milestone behind him, Thibault was free to turn his full attention to larger scales, with the intent to create a version of this map at the iconic 24 mile per hex scale.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 2000. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2000. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
