Thibault’s Ochalea, 8 miles per hex v2
Thibault created this updated version of his earlier Ochalea 8 mile per hex map in 2003. It’s a straight conversion of the map to the new upright hex art, otherwise remaining faithful to the original. It is missing labels, trails & shipping lanes, and a few of the smaller rivers; on the other hand, it has less jagged coasts.
As with the original, it remains an important source for Ochalea to this day, and subsequent maps have drawn on its detail and expanded it further.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 2003. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2003. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.

Are you going to cover maps of the moons too?

Certainly! I will keep adding maps until they’re all here, though that will take some years to accomplish, even if I can maintain my current pace of a map every day. We have made thousands of maps of Mystara over the past 25 years. Both moons, Matera and Patera, have been at least partially mapped. It would be nice to have complete maps at some point, though.
