Christian’s Western Brun, 24 miles per hex
Having tackled Hule and the Midlands, Christian moved further west, creating this beautiful map of Western Brun, including the area from Robrenn and western Hule to the far coast of the Arm of the Immortals.
In terms of new developments, Christian incorporated Adrian Mattias’s Empires of Zuyevo and Yezchamenid alongside the regions from the Princess Ark series. The Great Northway Lands from Dungeon 6 and 7 appear to be missing, likely because Christian (and Adrian) didn’t have access to those issues back then. Red Steel’s additional details for the Yazak Steppes seem to be present, however.
In the years since, this area has been mapped and remapped by numerous other fan cartographers, with a wide range of somewhat conflicting versions.
There are two versions of this map. The more recent was lost to the community for many years, until I found a copy saved in the Wayback Machine. The older version — the one on Thibault Sarlat’s site as well as the Vaults of Pandius for many years — has less details, although it’s slightly better quality. Both versions are presented below, first the newer, then the older.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 1999. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available, though a work-in-progress updated map of the Arm of the Immortals, 24 miles per hex is at Thorfinn Tait Cartography. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 1999. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
