Cthulhudrew’s Blackmoor, 24 miles per hex
The last map Andrew posted in the 20th Century was a trip back to the ancient days of Mystara: a rendition of Blackmoor in Mystara’s traditional 24 mile per hex scale.
This may well have been the first digital map of Blackmoor. Thibault remade it in his own signature style the next month, and there have been many more maps since, but Andrew’s 24 mile conversion remains useful for its scale.
Fan-made Map by Andrew Theisen (November 1999)
This is an original map created by one of Mystara’s excellent fan cartographers. For more information on the cartographer, including a gallery of all their maps, see also Appendix M: Mappers of Mystara.

This is a fan-made map. It was published in 1999. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 1999. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.

November 1999 is 14 months before the end of the 20th century. Was it really that long before Andrew published an other map?

Yes. Andrew made quite a few maps, and I have added all those he published to this site. Of course it’s entirely possible that he made others for private use in the interim and never published them, but fan cartographers tend to like to share their work rather than hide it away — myself included.
