Darkblood’s Known World, 8 miles per hex, Grid 0
This is the first grid section of Ricardo “Darkblood” Matheus’s Known World map. He began the project — the Mystara’s Map Navigator — in 2000, with the goal of providing “good quality maps of Mystara on the web”, posting the first sections in October of that year. The base year for the maps is 1011 AC, as noted in the site’s text, and evidenced by Ricardo’s inclusion of details from the AD&D Mystara supplements in his maps.
This part is particularly significant for the detail it adds to the Great Crater, including some nice new hex icons.
Fan-made Map by Ricardo Matheus (October 2000)
This is an original map created by one of Mystara’s excellent fan cartographers. For more information on the cartographer, including a gallery of all their maps, see also Appendix M: Mappers of Mystara.
