Darkblood’s Known World, 8 miles per hex, Grid S2E2
This was the second tile of the fourth row of Ricardo’s Mystara’s Map Navigator, and it would also be the second last tile he added. The pace of updates had by this point slowed down greatly, with this tile appearing five months after the previous map.
Since the chosen time period was 1011 AC, Karameikos was based on the later Karameikos: Kingdom of Adventure map.
Fan-made Map by Ricardo Matheus (July 2001)
This is an original map created by one of Mystara’s excellent fan cartographers. For more information on the cartographer, including a gallery of all their maps, see also Appendix M: Mappers of Mystara.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 2001. The updated Atlas version of this map is split between: Karameikos, 8 miles per hex, Minrothad, 8 miles per hex, and Thyatis, 8 miles per hex. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2001. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.

Regarding the overview of the Known World, ‘The Western countries’ and ‘The Eastern Countries’ 1000 AC map, (being a combined replica of TM1 and TM2, last revised May/June 2018), is it possible for the white information box to be reduced in size slightly, moved away from the Heldann Freeholds and placed over the ocean, east of the Ostland Islands sea lane route, but not overlapping Horta Bay?
It is not often that the Heldann Freeholds are included in the full map of the Known Worlds, and I was just wondering if this could be done, to show that area in more detail, with regard to the whole map?
