Gulluvia, 6 miles per hex (1983)
1983’s Expert Rules Set map of the Known World included two trails leading up onto the plateau in the northwest of Glantri. Of course, the designers almost certainly had no knowledge of Gulluvia’s presence up on the plateau; this would be the first of many such developments, oblivious to the existence of Gulluvia due to TSR management’s removal of the original B3 not just from the market but even from the company’s archives.
In any case, needless to say, neither trail leads anywhere that would make sense for Gulluvia. The southern trail would lead into the Thunder Mountains, while the northern one would go in a straight line to Mere. The latter trail could perhaps be made to work, although it contradicts the idea that Velders is the gateway to Gulluvia.
For now, I have not added either trail to this map.
Chronological Maps (August 2021)
This map is part of the Mystara 1983 series of chronological maps. It is an updated map, incorporating all available sources and made internally consistent with other maps in its series. But it only uses sources published in or before 1983.

Revisions
For detailed notes, see the posts for each individual source map at the links above.
- Font — The font has been changed to Baskerville throughout, to match the transition to BECMI styles.
- Hex Art — The symbols for settlements have been adjusted to match 1983 symbols. In the absence of a “hamlet” symbol, a smaller black dot symbol has been used, continuing the progression of 1983’s town and village symbols.
