HWR1 Azcan Empire, 8 miles per hex
The Hollow World’s first gazetteer, 1991’s HWR1 Sons of Azca, presented a detailed map of the heart of the Azcan Empire. Unfortunately the empire is so large that it doesn’t all fit on a single poster map, so the north and south provinces were not covered. But what it does show is a treasure trove of Aztec-inspired place names, and more than a few nice little details of the jungle nation’s countryside.
