HWR2 Legend
The legend for Kingdom of Nithia a great set of hex art for detailing Egyptian-style realms. Aside from the obligatory Pyramid, there was also a Monolith symbol, a Pyramid Complex, and new terrain symbols for Hardened Clay Desert and Sand Dunes. Another highlight was a special Village symbol with more culturally-accurate buildings, following the precedent begun in GAZ14 just a couple of months earlier. This was not carried into the other settlement symbols, likely because those for Towns, Cities and Capitals had always been rather more abstract.
All in all, the HWR series was highly innovative in terms of providing new hex art. Although these symbols would not see any use in subsequent official maps, fans would later go on to reuse them extensively.
