HWR2 Nithia Delta Region, 8 miles per hex
HWR2 brought a peculiar thing to Mystara’s product line: a double sided poster map with adjoining hex maps on both sides. It’s a curious production design, as it’s only natural to want to lay the two adjoining maps out together.
And what wonderful maps they are. Building upon years of references to ancient Nithia in the Gazetteer and other lines, Kingdom of Nithia set out to detail a fully-fledged Mystaran ancient Egypt, complete with the near-mythical River Nithia flowing through its centre. But this is no barren desert; although it includes lots of desert, these areas were painstakingly detailed, providing a veritable wonderland for adventurers to explore forgotten pyramids, ancient necropolises, massive monuments and colossal statues. There’s a lot going on here.
Finally, two new kinds of desert terrain were introduced: hardened clay and sand dunes.

The delta region map of Nithia seems to have lower definition than the southern Nithia map. It is hard to read the names of places when zooming in on the map. This does not happen in the map for southern Nithia

Thank you for letting me know. It was a problem with the link. I have fixed it, and updated both maps to my latest art standards.
