JTR’s Itämaa, 8 miles per hex
The Territory of Itämaa, or “east land”, is the coastal extension of inland Kaarjala. It comprises the lands around the Maanselkä (aka Landsplit) River’s estuary. As it lies outside Kaarjala proper, in a more exposed area with more inclement climate and weather, it is only sparsely populated.
Presumably JTR split this from the main Kaarjala map in Gaz F10 because Kaarjala is already quite long and thin, and including all the lands up to the Norwold coast would have made it even more so. Regardless, these two maps line up neatly.
