Mark’s Alphatia, 8 miles per hex v2
This was one of three maps Mark updated in mid 2025 with a new font and some new artwork. See his Known World, 8 miles per hex map’s post for more details on this.
Compared to the other two maps, Mark’s Alphatia map underwent fewer changes. The only completely new features I could find were some new rivers in the Yannivey Islands. However, Mark also made major revisions to the coastal and sea depths throughout the map — including the addition of sea ice in the far north. These bring their design into line with his other maps, and his John Calvin-style bathymetry — a great improvement.
