Mark’s Western Gulf of Hule, 8 miles per hex v2
This is one of two maps presenting options for solving the Gulf of Hule Problem. For the full story behind this, see the post for the first version.
While the first map explored the idea of adding a new barony to fill the gap, this map experimented with expanding Almarrón. It’s perhaps the less developed of the two maps, as Mark did not add any new features, instead spacing out the existing settlements. Presumably if it were to be used, some new icons would need to be added to fill in the more spacious borders.
Nonetheless, it has the advantage of making it easier to maintain consistency with the region’s lore, as it keeps the northeastern and southwestern borders with Gargoña and Cimmaron intact.
