Poor Wizard’s Almanac Alphatia
In 1992, the first Almanac revealed that the continent of Alphatia, thought to have sunk into oblivion at the conclusion of Wrath of the Immortals, had in fact been (mostly) saved by the Immortals. It was removed to a pocket plane, then relocated to the Hollow World, where the Immortals set it in orbit around the Hollow World sun as the largest floating continent.
There was of course a map, but given the scale of Alphatia and the space available in the book, it was a very small scale affair — equivalent to a 72 mile per hex map. Its primary contribution was the replacement of the seas around Alphatia with cloud-filled skies. Otherwise, there really wasn’t much new here — and indeed it caused some confusion, as it included Sundsvall, which was largely destroyed before the fall of Alphatia. Presumably what was marked was the ruins of Sundsvall, but the map didn’t make this clear.
The next year, the second Almanac provided a second version of this map.
