Ramelin’s Legend
At the end of November 2015, Jose shared his Legend for the first time on Pinterest. By that time he had already released quite a lot of maps, which included a number of new symbols, so this was a very welcome development.
Jose’s main innovation was splitting the symbols into categories, labelled at the top of each column.
His new symbols of note were: Power Site (a henge monument), Monster Lair (an adaptation of an earlier fan symbol), Dragon Lair, Cultivated Plains (a farmland hex), Mountain Divide, Snow Mountains, Snow Hills, Dead Hills, Taiga Forest, Mud Bog, Dead Swamp, Floating Ice, and Ice Pack. Some of these had previously appeared in other fan-made maps, but many were his own innovations.
This wasn’t the only Legend that Jose posted, and he later made a variation to fit more neatly onto the edge of a map.
