Ramelin’s Qeodhar, 8 miles per hex v1
This was one of a small set of maps that Jose shared on his Pinterest page in late November 2015, after posting many more earlier in the month. While the others focused on the Isle of Dawn and the Alatians, this one was his first pass at the island of Qeodhar.
Geoff Gander had previously mapped Qeodhar at 24 miles per hex, back in 2002, but Jose was the first to do it at 8 miles per hex. He incorporated all of Geoff’s settlements with some tweaks, and also added whaling spots and lighthouses. In contrast to his other maps, Jose did not add new settlements here — perhaps due to Qeodhar’s status as a sparsely-populated northern province. He did a great deal of work on the terrain, though, giving it a lot of new detailing appropriate to the 8 mile per hex scale.
Jose revisited Qeodhar for a second version a few years later.
