Sturm’s Blackheart, 8 miles per hex
Francesco made this map for his campaign back in 2006. However, he didn’t share it publicly until much later, when I adapted Ramelin Mystara Blackheart to complete my Alphatia, 8 miles per hex map in 2018.
Thus, Francesco’s was the first detailed map of Blackheart, and in fact only the second ever 8 mile per hex map of anywhere in Alphatia. It would doubtless have had a seismic effect on Alphatian mapping had it been posted earlier. But between its creation in 2006 and its posting in 2018, Bruce Heard spent two years developing much of Alphatia. Although he never got to Blackheart, he nevertheless mapped large tracts of it on the edges of other maps. Then in 2016 Jose Ignacio Ramos Lomelin completed the missing pieces of Bruce’s map.
What remains now, as Francesco noted when he posted his map, is to reconcile the two versions and create a hybrid with all the best parts.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was drawn in October 2006, although it was not posted publicly until November 2018. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2006. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
