Sturm’s Pelatan, 24 miles per hex
In early 2006, Thibault Sarlat started work on a detailed 24 mile per hex map of Western Davania. Francesco Defferrari provided many of the details, including labels, settlement locations, and borders. Their discussion stemmed from the Davania working group of the Mystaran Almanac, and started with Francesco’s marked-up Western Davania, 72 miles per hex map, followed by Thibault’s annotated version of the same map.
Thibault had a working 24 mile per hex draft of the region by late February, which he split into several pieces and sent to Francesco. This is the first of these pieces, showing the region of Pelatan, to which Francesco added borders, labels and locations.
After life intervened (as it so often does), Thibault returned to the map in February 2007 to produce a finished version, his Western Davania, 24 miles per hex map. It would be Thibault’s last map, although Francesco later picked up the torch and continued development.
