Sturm’s Schweidnitz, 8 miles per hex v1
Following on from his draft of Northwestern Davania, Francesco continued to work in the region, developing a set of four maps at 8 miles per hex to detail areas of interest to the Mystaran Almanac 1019 AC.
The first was the area marked as Makal, here titled Schwednitz, after the Heldannic colony that dominates this small sliver of Davania. Schweidnitz was created by Geoff Gander, and also worked on by Thibault Sarlat, though the 2001 map below by Francesco was its first map. Thibault followed up a few months later, and the final version in the published Almanac is the 2003 version below. The two versions are very similar, with the newer one incorporating some minor text fixes but not really adding anything else of note.
Francesco would revisit the map one more time many years later.
