Thibault’s Brasol West, 24 miles per hex
Thibault returned to Davania in October 2001, when he began work on finishing up the incomplete sections of the map. By the end of the month, he had completed work on Izonda, Pelatan, and western Brasol.
This panel comes between Pelatan East and Brasol East, showing the rather large valley of the Hidden Wood between the Brasol Range and the Ice Peaks. Aside from adding detail to Geoff’s terrain designs, Thibault also put some effort into breaking up the large swathes of mountainous terrain — a common problem with zooming in from 72 mile per hex maps.
The small panel presented second below here dates from the same period, filling a space north of the main map here and south of the Adakkian Sound map. It seems too minor to warrant its own post, so I’m including it here.
