Thibault’s City of the Stars, 2 miles per hex
This was Thibault’s first of two underground maps, using the new underground symbol set he developed at around the same time. Both were from GAZ13; this one is the City of the Stars Cavern map.
After creating the basic terrain in Grid, Thibault extensively reworked the cavern walls while also adding other line-work such as rivers and roads. Grid didn’t have good features for any of these things, so he had to use a separate graphics program for this. The result is a high quality finished map with a tweaked palette to represent the underground realms in 16 colours, along with full labelling. In short, it’s a nice digital reproduction of GAZ13’s map.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 2000. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2000. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
