Thibault’s Hule, 8 miles per hex
Having completed work on his 24 mile per hex map of the area in November 2000, Thibault turned his eye to an 8 mile per hex version in July the next year. Naturally, he based it on Christian’s Hule, 8 miles per hex map. However, it is unclear if he ever posted it publicly; it doesn’t appear that he ever added it to his site. Even his archives only included the eastern half in image form, though both halves were present in Grid format, along with two slivers to be added to the northern edge of the map.
I have assembled the full map, presented below possibly for the first time. Thibault never added rivers or other linework, nor labels, so this is the most complete version available. Regardless, it’s a huge chunk of 8 mile per hex terrain to add to Thibault’s body of maps.
Without the Great Waste at this scale, it could not be joined up to the Known World maps. Thibault never made a Grid map of the Great Waste like this, but he did make one later using Hexmapper — together with an updated version of this Hule map.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 2001. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2001. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
