Thibault’s Isle of Dawn, 8 miles per hex v2
Thibault’s work on the Isle of Dawn began in 1998, when he recreated TM2 in his Grid hexes. As with all his maps from this period, it had rotated hex art. In February 2000 he expanded this map to cover the whole Isle of Dawn, though it remained in a work-in-progress state. It wasn’t until April 2001 that he began work on an updated version with upright hex art. This was mostly a straight transfer of the older map: though he did bring some sections to the next stage of the conversion process, filling in the black hexes, he did not yet add extra details at this stage.
Thibault created his first composite map at this time, presented on the left below. However, he didn’t include all the most up to date sections from that time, so I have put together a composite, on the right below. All the parts come from April 2001.
As with the last post, the individual sectors are provided below the composites.
For full discussion of the map, see the post for the final version of the map, which appeared in September 2002.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in 2001. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 2001. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
