Thibault’s Orc’s Head Peninsula, 8 miles per hex
Thibault posted the final part of his Savage Coast grand opus at the end of July 1999, almost two months after the first parts appeared.
The area covered was the Orc’s Head Peninsula, and in this Thibault went far beyond the original maps from Dragon and Red Steel, converting the entire Orc’s Head Peninsula to 8 miles per hex for the first time; Dragon had only provided a small section at this scale, while the rest appeared only at 24 miles per hex.
Adamantyr followed up Thibault’s work two years later with his own version of the peninsula, adding more detail. But Thibault’s version remains an important source in the development of the region.
