Thibault’s Serpent Peninsula and Great Waste, 24 miles per hex
One of seven maps Thibault produced for the Tome of Mystara Volume 2 in late 1999.
This was labelled “Yavdlom”, but in fact it’s a combined replica of both poster maps from Champions of Mystara. As far as I can discern, it seems to be a very faithful reproduction.
The original Grid file for this map seems to have been lost, although thankfully the first posted version remains to us. Thibault later updated the Tome of Mystara version with a black hex grid, and both versions are included below.

Chronological Analysis
This is a fan-made map. It was published in November 1999 and revised in November 2000. The updated Atlas version of this map is not yet available. See also Appendix C for annual chronological snapshots of the area. For the full context of this map in Mystara’s publication history, see the upcoming Let’s Map Mystara 1999 and 2000. (Please note that it may be some time before the project reaches this point.)
The following lists are from the Let’s Map Mystara project. Additions are new features, introduced in this map; Revisions are changes to previously-introduced features; Hex Art & Fonts track design elements; and finally Textual Additions are potential features found in the related text. In most cases, the Atlas adopts these textual additions into updated and chronological maps.
