Thibault’s Thyatis, 8 miles per hex v1
Although he had worked up a test version as early as August 1999, Thibault posted his first finished map of Mainland Thyatis shortly after the turn of the millennium, in January 2000.
There’s not a great deal of note about this map. I can’t seem to find a version with the revised black hex grid, which is unusual as Thibault seems to have updated almost all of his maps with this — even the older ones. On the other hand, this one was replaced with a new version using upright hexes just a few months later, in April or May 2000. The primary difference between these two maps is the marking of sea depths, which are missing on the newer map.
