Thibault’s Vanya’s Rest Region, 8 miles per hex
In this map, Thibault further developed the area for many hundreds of miles around Vanya’s Rest. Just days before, he had finished a map of the region at 24 miles per hex; now he began work on the next level, zoomed in to 8 miles per hex. You can see the first pass of the map second below, with the borders around Vanya’s Rest notated roughly.
Before the end of the month, he completed the terrain conversion, adding rivers and smoothing out the coasts. His efforts stopped short of adding the borders, labels, or any other settlements. But this remains a nice base map for further development of the Heldannic colony and its surrounding areas.
