LoZompatore’s Platea, 72 miles per hex
Following on from his Platea Area overview map, Michele provided this small scale hex map of the Platea area. As noted in the article for the overview map, the idea was to present an otherwise empty area in Davania for community development as a Known World equivalent in the southern hemisphere.
Due to the scale, the map is necessarily vague, as can easily be seen from the included Known World comparison map. However, it’s enough to make clear the reasons for Michele’s choice of this area. He explained in his post at The Piazza:
Platea shows a pretty varied terrain in a limited area. In fact, from west to east we have: mountains, forests, plains (with a couple of big rivers flowing in them), arid terrains and then deserts.
