Christian’s Brun, 24 miles per hex
Christian made a total of four maps covering most of Brun back in 1999. I’ve never seen these put together into a single map before, so here they are.
The resulting map is very much a product of its era, reflecting Christian’s view of Brun in 1999. While it’s a wonderful view of the continent, it doesn’t include the revisions made by many fan cartographers since — including Christian himself in 2014. My preference is to adapt it to the current models piece by piece rather than taking the whole. Again, this was Christian’s approach to his revised Hule & Midlands map.
Regardless of all of this, it’s wonderful to see the map fully assembled at last. It’s just a shame that Christian didn’t map out the rest of Brun back then.
Combining Fan-made Maps by Christian Constantin (June 2021)
This is a composite of original maps created by one of Mystara’s excellent fan cartographers. For more information on the cartographer, including a gallery of all their maps, see also Appendix M: Mappers of Mystara.
