River Wufwolde

Traladaran name for the Windrush, a river in northern Karameikos. 64.4 miles long. Headwaters in Lake Windrush, in the Black Peak Mountains. Flows south past Threshold to Verge, where the Foamfire River joins it, then south-southeast along the western edge of the Wufwolde Hills, joining the Hillfollow River just northwest of Kelvin. First appeared in X1 (1981); first named Windrush in B10 (1986). Gained alternate name Wufwolde in GAZ1 text, as well as Waterolde on GAZ1 map (1987). Respelled to Waterholde on TM1 (1989).
