Sea of Dawn

Two seas share this name, on either side of the Isle of Dawn. To the east, between the Isle of Dawn and Alphatia, it is more commonly referred to as the Eastern Sea of Dawn. First appeared as “Sea of Dawn” in M1 (1985); first appeared as “Eastern Sea of Dawn” in GAZ10 (1989). To the west, between the Isle of Dawn and the Known World, it is more commonly referred to as the Western Sea of Dawn. First referenced as “Sea of Dawn” in the text of GAZ2 (1987); first appeared on a map as “Western Sea of Dawn” in GAZ7 (1988), then as “Sea of Dawn (Western)” in Dawn of the Emperors (1989).
